ParaScript upgrades check recognition solution

ParaScript, an AI document processing company, has improved its check recognition solution CheckXpert.AI with an endorsement reading feature. The feature can decipher handwritten or stamped text on the back of checks.

The solution is designed to prevent fraud such as duplicate deposits and third-party endorsements. It can read phrases on whether the check is for mobile deposit or deposit to account of payee. ParaScript also added other enhancements like money order amount reading, document type detection and vocabulary support for memo reading.

If anything is wrong with the check like a missing endorsement, CheckXpert.AI can flag checks for potential fraud.
