Paragon signs distribution deal with ACI Asia-Pacific

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. - Paragon Application Systems, a provider of ATM and EFT configuration, simulation and testing software, has signed a comprehensive reseller and distribution agreement with ACI Worldwide Inc., according to a news release.

ACI will provide distribution and technical support services for Paragon's ATM simulation and configuration tool, ATMulator Plus, and will recommend Paragon's quality assurance and regression testing tool, FASTest, as well as FASTress for stress-testing system capacity for customers in Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, India and Malaysia.

Last year, Paragon and ACI signed a worldwide distribution and referral agreement.

ATMulator Plus will enable ACI customers to simultaneously design and test ATM configuration files from their desktops, accelerating their time to market for new ATM features including EMV, smart-card support. Users will benefit from ATMulator Plus' thorough fault-testing, which identifies problems before they occur in production.

"As the Asia Pacific region implements EMV and integrates chip cards with their existing magnetic card base, they will require comprehensive simulation, configuration and testing tools to effectively test their networks," said Steven Lund, director of business development for Paragon.
