Panini, BLM sign distribution deal for EMV card instant issuance solution

Minneapolis-based BLM Technologies, a provider of payment, transaction and other financial institution hardware and IT services, has expanded its EMV card instant issuance portfolio in partnership with payment processing solutions provider Panini.

BLM will expand its product offering with the addition of the Panini Cardmint FX compact hardware device. The device connects to the card issuer's network to instantly and securely produce new or replacement double-sided flat chip cards, a press release said.

"Cardmint FX allows BLM clients to differentiate themselves in a competitive financial services marketplace," BLM VP of Marketing Debbie Schwake, Vice President of Marketing at BLM Technologies, said in the release. "Instant card issuance equals instant customer gratification and a 100 percent activation rate for the issuing institution. Our clients are able to fully brand and personalize the cards they issue, creating a lasting association to their unique services and state-of-the-art solutions."
