PAI, Ventura County CU partner to brand ATMs in Rite Aid stores

Retail ATM provider Payment Alliance International and Ventura, Calif.-based Ventura County Credit Union have entered an agreement that will place VCCU's brand identity on 23 ATMs at Rite Aid stores in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

PAI will own and operate the units; VCCU's 60,000 members will enjoy surcharge-free cash access at the ATMs starting in late April, according to a press release.

"Partnering with PAI to give our members convenient, surcharge-free access to cash at ATMs located in Rite Aid stores throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties simply makes sense," said Joe Schroeder, president and CEO of VCCU. "We better serve our members close to where they live and shop."

PAI operates ATMs at more than 60,000 retail locations across the U.S., and provides ATM services to approximately 1,500 Rite Aid locations nationwide.
