Orbograph wraps up successful test of cloud-based validation solution

Working with partner Digital Check, the company demonstrated that its OrboAnywhere interface methodology really does live up to its name.

March 8, 2016

Orbograph, a provider of check recognition and image validation solutions, and its alliance partner, Digital Check, have successfully completed proof of concept testing for OrboAnywhere via the Owhere Test Cloud.

According to a press release, OrboAnywhere automatically validates the negotiability of paper-originated items for any self-service or traditional channel within a financial institution.

Orbograph said that its solution provides a consistent customer experience across multiple platforms, including self-service kiosks, concierge tablets, mobile devices, ATMs, video teller machines, point-of-sale devices, remote deposit capture solutions, and over-the-counter or lockbox workflows.

OrboAnywhere leverages the interface compatibility of Web services to enable deployment in a wide range of IT environments, the release said. These include local installations on remote devices, centralized deployments, service bureau or cloud-based service offerings.

Digital Check used its Vault by Digital Check solution to test the ease of programming interface, accessibility via a cloud environment, and validation accuracy.

"This successful test was completed in a matter of hours, demonstrating the system's design to enable business partner and client operation with minimal overhead and maximum flexibility," said Barry Cohen, co-president of Orbograph.
