Oki opens additional sales offices in China

TOKYO - Oki Electric Industry (Shenzhen), a wholly owned subsidiary of Oki Electric which manages production and sales of Oki-brand ATMs and printers in China, has established sales offices in Beijing and Shanghai to beef up its sales activities.

According to a Japan Corporate News Network report, the new offices will also provide customers with technical and system engineering support.

With the additional offices, Oki anticipates that ATM and printer sales will reach 70 billion yen (U.S. $638 million) in fiscal 2005, a doubling from fiscal 2003.
