NuSource chooses CheckAlt for ATM deposits

The CheckAlt solution allows NuSource to offer its customers automated processing and consolidation of items received via image-enabled ATMs.

NuSource Financial, an independent ATM provider, has tapped CheckAlt for ATM deposit processing and reconciliation solutions, a press release announced.

NuSource delivers ATM services — including placement, maintenance, outsourcing, equipment sales, and remote management — to more than 700 financial institutions in 20 states, the release said.

The CheckAlt solution automates the processing and consolidation of items received via image-enabled ATMs, which allows FIs to monitor check deposits easily and in near real-time, the release said. Users of the product can set business rules for total deposit amounts, individual check amounts, duplicate suspects, amount changes, and MICR data matching. Items can be flagged for review or other appropriate action before being processed forward.
