NuSource acquires ATM hardware maintenance business

NuSource Financial Inc., an independent ATM dealer in the Minneapolis area, has announced its acquisition of Independent Field Services Inc., a third-party provider of hardware maintenance services based in Bowling Green, Ky. The acquisition will close on Nov. 1.

NuSource specializes in ATM products and services for the financial institution marketplace. In a news release about the acquisition, the company said that the IFS purchase will expand NuSource service coverage to 18 states — including Kentucky and Tennessee — and more than 500 customers.

NuSource was also recently in the news with the announcement by Diebold Inc. that the companies had resolved a patent infringement claim brought by the manufacturer.
