NRF, Digital Signage Today set plans for customer-experience at Jan. expo

July 10, 2007

WASHINGTON - The National Retail Federation, the world's largest retail trade association, and Digital Signage Today, a Web site dedicated to digital-signage technology and news, have announced a partnership to design a pavilion for the NRF 97th Annual Convention & Expo, which runs Jan. 13-16, 2008, in New York.

NRF represents an industry with more than 1.6 million U.S. retail establishments and more than 24 million employees.

"We have enormous empathy with the challenges retailers face, and real-world technology is available now that will help them connect with their customers in a way their customers prefer," said Bob Fincher, general manager of Digital Signage Today.

According to a news release, the "Customer Experience Pavilion" will provide a hands-on environment for retailers to see real-world digital-signage strategies and solutions that will help them connect with their customers. Different areas of the pavilion will demonstrate how retailers can improve customer experience, increase sales, merchandise their goods more effectively, educate employees, generate customer and employee loyalty, and integrate technology.
