CHICAGO -- Chicago-based ATM manufacturer Midwest Bancard Corporation says that its patent-pending MBC1031 ATM, a rear-load, through the wall machine developed for retail businesses, has earned certification from Concord EFS, the country's largest transaction processor.
Midwest Bancard plans to offer the MBC1031 for sale through ISOs on a national basis.
Concord's certification follows the previous certifications by EFT Logix and Core Data Resources.
According to a news release, the MBC1031's rear door opens to a screen and keypad, which allows employees in security-conscious environments to print reports and review error messages without leaving the safety of a secure environment. The machine also features a rear-loading slide-out cash cassette and a rear-loading slide-out printer, to allow employees easy access to add cash or change paper.
The MBC1031 exterior ATM is also available in a weatherproof model, for ATM deployers who wish to place ATMs through the exterior wall of a store or office building, according to the release.
The stainless-steel ATM measures 19.5 inches in total width and has patent-pending built-in frame.
