Conformance Technologies' Data Incident Management Program assists with forensics, equipment replacement, legal fees, and legal and consumer notifications.

Conformance Technologies, a provider of operating systems and expertise in managing business compliance, has developed a new Data Incident Management Program for use by merchants, ISOs and acquirers, the company announced in a press release.
The program comprises a suite of services that can be deployed in the event of a data incident: data incident forensics; POS equipment or software replacement; $10,000 in legal services; legal and consumer notifications; and public relations management.
According to the company, the Data Incident Management Program creates revenue-generating opportunities for resellers and aggregators, including merchant acquirers and independent sales organizations. Typically portfolio operators charge a small monthly fee for the program, rather than a per-incident fee.
"Our company goal is to provide a perfect mix of conformity and performance," said Conformance Technologies president Darrel Anderson. “We do this by creating products and services that allow both portfolio operators and their end-user customers the ability to easily manage and measure a variety of compliance and operational tasks. Our new Data Incident Management Program is an integrated service offering that easily manages all aspects of a data incident, reducing costs for all parties involved while ensuring a professional resolution to issues."
