SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. - The Nextran Group, an ATM products and services provider, announced that its newest ATM model, the ComNet Xtremo, has been certified for use on ATM networks operated by Memphis, Tenn.-based Concord EFS Inc., according to a news release.
"The Xtremo fits into the category of ATMs known as 'mini-ATMs,' but offers features usually found on larger machines," said Harry Whitman, executive vice president of the Nextran Group.
The Xtremo features include an 8-inch color screen, banknote cassette with a capacity for 2,000 notes, stand-alone or through-the-wall installation and the ability to handle prepaid services like money transfer, cell phone top-ups, phone cards or postage.
The certification also validates that Xtremo is Triple DES compliant, Whitman added.
