New England Federal Credit Union signs with PSCU Financial Services, mFoundry for mobile banking

September 17, 2009

Vermont-based New England Federal Credit Union has signed with PSCU Financial Services and mFoundry to deliver mobile banking to its more than 70,000 members.

With more than $720 million in assets, NEFCU is the largest credit union in the state of Vermont.
NEFCU says mobile banking will enhance member access to financial services and information and will make banking more convenient.

The mobile-banking solution from PSCU and mFoundry eliminates costly implementation processes by tapping into existing connectivity with multiple data sources, the credit union says. The solution includes 24/7 support by service representatives, as well as turnkey marketing support to stimulate member adoption.

John Dwyer, the credit union's president and chief operating officer, says mobile banking represents the next generation of financial convenience:
Mobile banking is yet another easy and convenient service that we are happy to offer to our members. Our members are increasingly choosing to use remote channels such as PC Banking and call centers to access their accounts and manage their finances. This mobile-banking solution met our standards for reliability, security and ease of use.
