New board, service awards announced at ATMIA conference

The ATM Industry Association hosted the ATMIA US 2015 Conference and Expo last week at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and, during the event, announced annual awards in several categories, as well as the installation of a new slate of officers on the organization's board of directors.

Awards

Outstanding Service, 2014

Dr. Aravinda Korala, CEO, KAL ATM Software

Peter Kulik, SVP, Digital ATM, Citibank

Consultant of the Year, 2014

Francesco Burelli

Fifteen Years of Excellence in Service

Mike Lee, CEO, ATMIA

Ten Years of Excellence in Service

Amber Howell, Training, Web Content and Social Media Manager, ATMIA

 

ATMIA Board of Directors

The following changes to the ATMIA Board of Directors were announced at the show:

Chairman — Kurt Helwig, President and CEO, Electronic Funds Transfer Association

President — Chris Chandler, President and CEO, Access Cash, Cash N Go, Ezee ATM

Deputy President — John J. Leehy III, President and CEO, PAI

Deputy Chairman — Brian Kett, President, GRG International

Board Member —Tom Pierce, Chief Marketing Officer of Cardtronics Inc., replacing board member Mike Clinard, President of Global Services, Cardtronics, who is retiring

Additionally, ATMIA conferred honorific titles on two past board members:

Founding Director — Tom Harper, President and CEO, Networld Media Group

Chairwoman Emeritus — Sandra Hartfield, Director of Sales for North America, Monex Financial Services Ltd.

According to Lee, the board of directors expressed thanks for the exceptional service of outgoing Board member Mike Clinard. Tom Harper also received special thanks for his extraordinary contribution to the association in the founding role and as president for three terms. In addition, Sandra Hartfield was thanked for her outstanding chairmanship of ATMIA through both good and difficult times.
