New ATM enclosure can be placed against exterior wall

March 15, 2004

LEXINGTON, Texas - DASH ATM Enclosures recently launched a new through-the-door (TTD) enclosure, utilizing the QualtexWeatherMaster ATM for drive-up/walk-up locations.

According to a news release, ATM locations now have a choice of removing ATMs from inside their stores, providing more room for merchandise, by placing the TTD ATM unit outside against an exterior wall.

Frank Barba, president of ISO Keystone Enterprise, helped inspire the product when he told DASH that his company had received multiple requests from strip mall management companies and c-store owners for an ATM enclosure that could be installed with the back of the enclosure securely up against an outside wall.

According to the release, Keystone recently installed the first new enclosure, which offers access to the ATM for service and maintenance through the front of the unit.

Scott Henrichs, president of Ready Cash Inc., said the enclosure can help boost security.  "We are starting to see more and more smash and grab ATM thefts popping up all over the country. What I like about the DASH TTD enclosure is that it is designed more like a vault than a kiosk," he said.

DASH ATM and Qualtex are both marketing the new ATM/enclosure combination to their respective distributors.

Jacob Eisen, Qualtex Corp.'s national sales director, said in the release, "We believe that our relationship with DASH ATM will attract new distributors for our company and help us provide a viable solution for small banks and credit unions, as well as independent ATM distributors, throughout North America."
