Nets Group steps over to Tango for ATM driving

The Lusis Payments solution is now driving the Nets ATM estate of approximately 700 withdrawal and deposit ATMs.

September 9, 2014

Nordic switch processor The Nets Group, a provider of payment, card and information solutions, has adopted the Tango platform from payments software provider Lusis Payments, according to a news release. Tango now drives the Nets ATM estate of approximately 700 withdrawal and deposit ATMs.

The Nets Group is the largest processor in the Nordic region, with more than 30 percent market share of card processing (1.3 billion transactions annually) across the region.

"Our previous solution had been sunset by the supplier," said Jan Erik Secker, vice president at Nets. "We therefore conducted a thorough review of the alternatives available to us, in conjunction with a respected independent consultancy group, and across many dimensions found that Tango was the best match for our needs and requirements."

The Tango platform offered Nets the ability to migrate from the discontinued BASE 24 to a flexible, cost-competitive solution, said Philippe Preval, president of Lusis Payments.
