DAYTON, Ohio - NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR - News) said it anticipates fourth-quarter results for 2004 to be better than expected.The company cited double-digit revenue growth in its Financial Self Service, Teradata Data Warehousing and Retail Store Automation businesses.
According to a news release, NCR says it now expects revenue of approximately $1.79 billion, an increase of 9 percent from 2003's fourth quarter. The revenue growth is expected to include a 3 percentage point benefit from foreign currency fluctuations.
Earnings per share are expected to be $1.20 or more, including the favorable impact of real estate, tax and certain non-operational items. Excluding these items, NCR expects EPS of 98 cents to $1. The mean estimate among Wall Street analysts for the fourth quarter is 77 cents per share.
