DAYTON, Ohio - NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) expects to report strong third-quarter results, with revenue of approximately $1.44 billion to $1.45 billion, an increase of approximately 7 percent from 2003's third quarter, and earnings per share of 40 cents or better, at least doubling earnings of 19 cents per share a year ago.
The mean estimate among Wall Street analysts for the third quarter is 20 cents per share.
NCR's revenue growth is expected to include 3 percentage points from foreign currency fluctuations.
The better-than-expected third-quarter results were, in part, driven by strong performances in the company's Teradata Data Warehousing and Financial Self Service businesses.
NCR is forecasting full-year earnings EPS in the $1.40 to $1.45 range.
