NCR to place 150 Personas ATMs for Indian bank

MUMBAI, India - NCR Corp. announced in a news release that it signed a deal with Chennai-based Indian Overseas Bank for 150 NCR Personas ATMs. NCR is the leading ATM manufacturer in the Indian market.

NCR also will deliver total installation services, which includes site-preparation management such as power and telecom connectivity.

"We are glad to work with NCR as we expand the reach of our ATM network to keep up with customer needs," said IOB's chairman and managing director T. S. Narayanasami. "As ATMs become a central part of our customers' banking experience, we see many routine transactions migrating to the ATM channel, while we can deploy the bank personnel for more customer-facing, value-added activities."
