NCR to deploy 27 ATMs with Texas bank

June 12, 2011

NCR Corp. announced today that it will deploy 27 SelfServ ATMs with Broadway Bank, a new customer.

Broadway Bank, which is based in San Antonio, purchased a mixture of cash-dispensing and envelope-deposit-taking ATMs. The models include: the SelfServ 22,  the SelfServ 25, the SelfServ 34, a high-transaction ATM, and the SelfServ 38, a drive-through ATM, said Jeff Dudash, an NCR spokesperson.

In addition to the ATMs, Broadway Bank will have Solidcore for APTRA multivendor software on the machines. The software proactively only allows authorized code to run instead of reacting to known attacks as they arise. NCR also will provide second-line hardware and software maintenance.

"We were very impressed with the availability, security and design of NCR SelfServ ATMs," said Mike Meyer, vice president and Deposit Operations manager for Broadway Bank. "ATMs are an important channel for Broadway Bank to deliver first-class service to our customers."

Founded in 1941, Broadway Bank has $2.3 billion in assets and it serves 38 locations in South Central Texas, including locations on military installations near San Antonio. NCR, which is based in Duluth, Ga., is the world's largest ATM manufacturer based on annual shipments.
