OMAHA, Neb. - NCR Corp.'s ATPRA-enabled ATMs will support ACI's BASE24-infobase software, according to a news release from ACI Worldwide.
ACI said NCR is one of the first ATM providers to support the program for Windows-based solutions. The software allows NCR to download software and graphics files from ATMs and eliminates the need for site visits.
Jim Piggot, NCR vice president of software and services, described the software management system as a "must" for NCR customers who want to upgrade ATM graphics, branding messages and currency templates remotely.
The BASE24 software will be available at NCR ATMs in early 2002, the release said.
