NCR awarded for ATM security

DAYTON, Ohio - NCR Corp. won two awards at the annual Banker Technology Awards, an awards competition independently judged by a panel of global financial industry leaders, the company announced in a news release. NCR received the Innovation of the Year award and won in the Fraud Prevention category.

The awards were presented by The Banker, a London-based global banking-industry publication. 

Dayton-based NCR took the honors for its use of sensing technology for ATM fraud prevention. NCR's Intelligent Fraud Detection is built into the ATM and senses any changes to the environment related to fraudulent activity.
