NCR Atleos announced it has achieved 5.8 million hours of ATM availability in 2025 through service improvements. In particular, the company used AI-powered diagnostics, intelligent dispatch systems and fleet-level performance management to handle devices operating in an unusual manner, according to a press release.
The company aimed to reduce unnecessary service visits, perform preventative maintenance and avoid repeat trips by service workers. NCR Atleos achieved a 23% improvement year-over-year in revisits due to missing parts or more maintenance and resolved issues faster.
"This accomplishment demonstrates what happens when you combine disciplined continuous improvement with cutting‑edge technology," Leonard Graves, EVP global operations for Atleos, said in the release. "By reducing waste, strengthening quality and leaning into proactive and predictive capabilities, we've given our customers millions of hours of added availability with no additional cost to them."
Atleos was recently acquired by The Brink's Company in a $6.6 billion deal.
