NCR Corp. has announced that it will work with Transguard Group, a cash logistics specialist and member of the Emirates Group of companies, to create one of the largest ATM servicing and management operations in the UAE.

Through this partnership, NCR's multivendor services and its suite of software solutions (such as NCR APTRA Vision and NCR APTRA OptiCash) will be made available to banks as an SaaS offering, a press release said.

"This partnership gives us a unique competitive edge to leverage both NCR and our competencies to capitalize on new business opportunities, driven by the demand from financial institutions to leave management of end-to-end ATM services and assets, financing and leasing to professionals like us and focus on their core businesses," Transguard CEO Dr. Abduallah Alhashmi said in the release. "We will now be able to better serve our customers on core financial solutions such as security and financial thefts, cash certification and industry-leading services backed by NCR's globally recognized innovations."

NCR Aptra Vision provides visibility into the functioning of self-service networks of financial institutions to help them improve availability, consumer experience and business performance, the release said.

NCR Aptra OptiCash integrates with existing bank systems and networks, applying mathematical algorithms to historical, event and cost data. It also provides preemptive alerts to prevent cash outages at individual cashpoints.

NCR provides managed services for more than 65,000 ATMs worldwide. The company said it has been named one of the top 10 global outsourcing services providers by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals.
