Nationwide Money manages more branded ATMs for Allfirst Financial

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Nationwide Money Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Axcess Inc. (OTCBB:GLXS - news), has received a two-year contract extension from Allfirst Financial, a financial services company headquartered in Baltimore, to manage branded ATMs for Allfirst. 

As a participant in Nationwide's Branded Cash program, Allfirst can offer its customers surcharge-free access to ATMs in retail locations. Allfirst also collects surcharge revenue from non-customers using the machines. Nationwide provides transaction processing, cash management and ATM monitoring.

Allfirst is increasing its number of branded ATMs in the program to more than 50. The two-year extension will increase Nationwide's revenues from Allfirst by 25 percent, according to a news release.

"We are excited about our extended relationship with Allfirst,' said David Beddard, vice president of sales and marketing for Nationwide Money. "Allfirst is a pioneer of the Branded Cash program, which has become a tremendously successful program throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States.'
