VTB 24 Bank, one of Russia's largest financial institutions, intends to improve its one-to-one customer marketing campaigns through its ATMs by installing NCR Corp.'s APTRA Relate software.
The software enables VTB 24 to extend the functionality of its ATMs and create marketing campaigns based on customer data taken from the Customer Relationship Management database. The software will help the bank engage in a personalized dialogue with its more than 300,000 customers and sell more products, said bank officials.
When a customer types in his PIN at an ATM featuring NCR APTRA Relate, the bank can make a personalized marketing offer and evaluate the customer's interest in the course of the dialogue.
Last year, MultiCarta JSC, a processor owned by VTB 24, started to develop VTB's in-house solution to interface with APTRA Relate and to install the solution jointly with NCR on more than 1,000 ATMs. By the end of 2011, the vast majority of all 3,000 NCR ATMs within the network will be provided with the solution, said bank officials.
VTB 24 Bank, which is based in Moscow, operates more than 5,000 ATMs, according to company's website.
