Morphis releases branch cash management module

September 28, 2004

DALLAS, Texas - Morphis, Inc. has released an upgrade to its MorphisCM product called the Branch Cash Management module.

According to a news release, the new module is designed to manage an FI's enterprise-wide demand for currency and coin in all denominations.

Using the same data management and prediction algorithms found in its ATM, Cash-in-Transit and Vault management products, the Morphis Branch Cash Management module forecasts local currency and coin demands. Then, by denomination, it aggregates the total forecasted demand or surplus across an entire banking enterprise.

The Morphis system optimizes currency usage by locating the nearest custody point to satisfy the specific need of either increasing or reducing on-hand currency supplies.

Delivery of the upgrade to existing Morphis customers will begin on Sept. 30. Morphis has extended its free trial offer to qualifying FIs through Dec. 30, 2004.
