Morphis Inc., a provider of currency supply chain automation software, has announced its latest cash-in-transit tool, Morphis mTrack for Android devices.
The new application is the most recent of the company's ongoing efforts to develop automation technologies for the CIT industry, a press release said.
"Securing, managing and reporting on change-of-custody processes has always been a critical control element of Morphis software," CEO Gary D. Faulkner said in the release. "Android devices are rapidly becoming the de facto standard for many secured logistics companies. For Morphis, deploying our mobile track-and-trace for the Android ecosystem was the next logical step."
The mTrack application captures and communicates real-time over-the-road activity such as secure package deliveries, pickups, and ATM replenishment and balancing.
GPS data from the Android device seamlessly integrates with the Morphis Optimized Vehicle and Routing system to provide enhanced command and control of CIT fleets on the move, the release said.
The app not only tracks the movement of vehicles and secure parcels, but also records signatures and prints and emails activity receipts, among other features. Morphis mTrack is currently available in English and Spanish.
