MoneyTree using Fujitsu dispensers in new ATMs

September 10, 2002

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- MoneyTree ATM says it will use Fujitsu F50 cash dispensers in its new line of compact, low-cost ATMs after signing an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreeement with Dallas-based Fujitsu Transaction Solutions.

In a news release, MoneyTree president Brad Fletcher called the Fujitsu F50 dispenser "an ideal fit" for his company's new line of machines because of the dispenser's high quality, compact design and reliability.

The new MoneyTree ATMs include the MT-100, a tabletop unit, and the rear-load RL-100 and through-the-wall MTW-100.

According to Fletcher, all of the new machines have just three components, which makes them simple to maintain and repair. Fletcher said the units are available now, following successful pilot tests.

Fujitsu's single-denomination F50 dispenser dispenses 1.5 bills a second and has a double-pick media system to ensure proper dispensing. It can be installed in either wide-and-shallow or narrow-and-deep spaces and has an adjustable storage bin that can be used for a variety of different size currencies.
