MoneyPass, FCTI team to provide surcharge-free ATMs at 7-Eleven stores

August 3, 2017

MoneyPass, the card processing network of Elan Financial Services, and FCTI Inc., an IAD, have reached a multiyear agreement for the MoneyPass Network to provide surcharge-free access at more than 8,000 7-Eleven locations in the United States.

The MoneyPass rollout will begin in August and continue through Q1 2018. Upon completion of the project, MoneyPass will have an estimated 33,000 surcharge-free ATMs in the U.S., a press release said.

"The addition of the 7- Eleven stores to the MoneyPass Network brings value to both organizations," MoneyPass Network President Douglas Miraglia said in the release. "MoneyPass card issuers can promote the expansion of convenient surcharge-free ATM access to their cardholders, and 7-Eleven looks to increase foot traffic to their locations from the 87 million cards of the MoneyPass Network."

"Partnering with MoneyPass aligns with our focus of delivering ATM programs that provide incremental value and increase foot traffic to our customer's locations," FCTI co-CEO Jeffrey Wernecke said in the release. "We are pleased to begin offering MoneyPass surcharge-free ATM access on FCTI's ATMs at 7-Eleven."
