Michigan law targets ATM skimmers

Michigan has made it a crime to attach "skimmers" to ATMs to capture ATM and debit card information, according to The Associated Press.

Gov. Rick Snyder has signed laws prohibiting the high-tech devices that record information off ATM cards and capture PIN numbers used to make transactions. Snyder said "skimming" from ATMs is a growing problem.
