A Flint, Mich., credit union has enhanced its relationship with CO-OP Financial Services, operator of one of the nation's largest surcharge-free ATM networks for credit unions.
Financial Plus FCU announced yesterday that it has selected CO-OP Credit for credit card transaction processing in addition to the ATM/debit card processing the credit union already receives from CO-OP Financial Services, which is based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
"Financial Plus is a long-time debit/ATM processing client of CO-OP Financial Services," said Jill Reno, president and CEO of Financial Plus FCU. "We are confident that by combining our debit, ATM and credit card processing programs into one vendor, it will provide for added efficiency and cost savings." Financial Plus has assets of $370 million, and it serves 42,000 members in four counties surrounding Flint.
CO-OP Financial Services owns CO-OP Network, operator of 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs for credit union members.
