Michael Geppert hired to lead First Data Solutions

OMAHA, Neb. - First Data Corp. has hired Michael Geppert as president of its First Data Solutions. The company, part of First Data Financial Institution Services, serves financial institutions and debt and collections agencies by helping them locate, verify and identify individuals and businesses.
Before being named to the new position, Geppert served as senior vice president of First Data Solutions from 1991 to 1998. He left First Data to become president of VideoYellowPagesUSA.com and in 2000 he joined the Omaha World-Herald Company, where he served as president of World Media Co. Most recently, Geppert directed marketing, Internet publishing and product management for World Media.

"His previous experience with First Data Solutions and his knowledge of the information services industry will help First Data Solutions execute on its strategy to deliver information-based product to our clients."
