mFoundry makes top 10 among tech companies in Bank Technology News

MFoundry has been selected by Bank Technology News as a leading company in the technology innovation space.

 
According to a news release from mFoundry, the company was named in Bank Technology News' 8th Annual Innovator Awards ranking. Each year the awards, which this year were announced in December, rank companies and individuals deemed to be the most innovative. This marks the third consecutive year that mFoundry has been named to BTN's list.
 
MFoundry's work with Starbucks caught the publication's attention this year. MFoundry produced an innovative mobile payment solution for Starbucks' gift-card holders. Deployed nationally, the solution allows Starbucks customers to load multiple cards, check their balances and past transactions, and reload. Also, in 16 select stores in Silicon Valley andSeattle, customers could use their phones to actually pay at the point of sale, leveraging mFoundry's 2D barcode system.
 
The recognition from Bank Technology is an honor for the company, says Drew Sievers, mFoundry's chief executive and co-founder:
