MEI offering USB-compatible bill acceptors

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – MEI's Series 2000 and SC Series bill acceptors are available with optional USB interfaces for faster integration into existing kiosks.

MEI provides an Application Program Interface to customers at no charge, available via CD ROM or downloaded from MEI's Web site.

"Kiosk OEMs, particularly smaller companies looking for easy-to-integrate components, will appreciate USB bill acceptors for their simplicity across a broad range of kiosk applications," said Alec Shekhar, MEI marketing manager.

MEI will continue to make the standard versions of the Series 2000 and CashFlow SC Series bill acceptors with the RS232 interface.
