ASI Federal Credit Union has transferred operation of its ATM fleet to Dolphin Debit, a full-service ATM management company, in a bid to improve member service, according to a press release.
In February, Dolphin Debit installed a dozen new ATMs for ASI as part of the agreement. Dolphin will install two additional ATMs for ASI when the CU opens its 12th branch in New Orleans in June.
Harahan, Louisiana-based ASI serves four parishes in the New Orleans area and is the eighth largest credit union in the state, with more than 56,000 members and assets of $313 million.
Sally Hoffstadt, ASI vice president of marketing, said the new machines offer greater potential for on-screen advertising. She said that the two ATMs to be installed at the new branch will also feature image deposit functionality, a service that the CU is looking at offering in some of its busier locations.
Dolphin Debit manages ATMs for a number of other credit unions in the area; ASI customers will be able to use those machines surcharge free, the release said.
