HOUSTON -- Loomis, Fargo & Co., one of the nation's largest cash-in-transit companies, has announced the creation of LF&Co. Logistics, its new consulting division.
James B. Mattly, CEO and president, noting that Loomis, Fargo & Co. has been providing armored transportation, ATM and cash vault services to the nation's financial community for years, said, "We have a unique perspective in understanding the supply chain needs of multiple unit financial institutions and retailers. Drawing on our experience, we've formed LF&Co. Logistics to bring down-to- earth solutions to the complex logistical issues associated with effective cash management."
Pete Silewicz, senior vice president - Banking Services, will also serve as managing director of LF&Co. Logistics.
LF&Co. Logistics has created a three-phase process to study, recommend and ultimately assist in initiating improvements in cash management operations. According to the company, the work is performed by a combined team that includes customer executive members, an LF&Co. Logistics manager, team members from both groups and advisors and subject matter experts as required.
