LogicaCMG names CEO to spearhead North American expansion

HOUSTON - LogicaCMG, provider of information technology, business-process outsourcing, systems integration and consulting, has named Amanda J. Mesler its chief executive in North America.
According to a news release, Mesler will oversee development of the company's international IT-services growth strategy in the North American market.Before joining LogicaCMG, Mesler held senior positions at SYSCO, EDS, Bearing Point and General Electric.
"She brings to our company a wealth of business experience," said John Coleman, LogicaCMG's international CEO. "She has performed a variety of key functions over the years, including leadership, corporate strategy, business transformation, and sales and marketing. She has also been successful in identifying and delivering IT services and solutions to a broad sector of clients, and she is particularly familiar with the energy industry."
In North America, LogicaCMG says it's focused on strengthening its position in the energy and financial-services industries.
