Lock maker LA GARD hires 2 new execs

TORRANCE, Calif. - LA GARD, a provider of  electronic locking devices designed for the medium- and high-security safe and vault markets, has appointed two new executives to help drive its future growth.

Orlando Consalvi, a 20-year veteran of the safe lock industry, is the company's new national product manager. He comes to LA GARD from Kaba Mas Corporation where he specialized in the financial security market.  He will assist in LA GARD's efforts to launch new products specifically designed for the financial community.

LA GARD also welcomes Steve Robinson as regional sales manager for Asia. He joins LA GARD after two years as president of Tecno Lock Asia, Ltd., LA GARD's distributor in Japan. Robinson also served as international sales manager for Lockmasters.
