Langdoc joins Fujitsu to drive company's retail vision

FRISCO, Texas - Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. appointed Scott Langdoc, a leading retail research analyst, chief technology officer, the company announced in a news release.

Langdoc will join the company April 10 and will serve on its operating board, reporting to Fujitsu president and chief executive Austen Mulinder. Langdoc also will serve as the technical visionary for the Fujitsu Transaction Solutions value proposition, and will serve as one of Fujitsu's primary market evangelists, engaging in key customer and partner relationships.

Before Fujitsu, Langdoc was vice president and general manager of AMR Research's retail industry practice, where he directed technology and process research.

"Scott's deep knowledge of the retail technology space and profound set of relationships with retailers and best-of breed technology vendors will be a tremendous asset to our growing business," Mulinder said. "Scott will make compelling contributions to the continued refinement and rollout of our software-centric Pervasive Retailing vision and strategy."
