Cryptocurrency ATM vendor Lamassu has introduced new model lines, according to the company's website.
The new machines, which Lamassu refers to as "cryptomats," rather than bitcoin or cryptocurrency ATMs, include:
Sintra — an all-new design, fabricated from sheets of steel 2.5 millimeters thick, with an all-glass touch screen. The cash-in, cash-out unit is driven by a "ssuboard," Lamassu's custom computer board with battery backup. It features 3G connectivity, tamper sensors and front door control. The unit is priced at $8,737.
Sintra Forte — approximately 20 percent larger overall than the Sintra, with a larger vault controlled by an electronic lock. The cash-in, cash-out vault is constructed from 6mm hardened steel and contains a note validator, note dispenser and computer board. Like the Sintra, it features the ssuboard with battery backup, 3G connectivity, tamper sensors and front door control. The unit is priced at $10,368.
Douro II — revamps the original cash-to-bitcoin machine with an updated design, ssuboard with battery backup, 3G connectivity and tamper sensors. The unit is priced at $6,058.
All models support bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash and Zcash. Operators may choose which cryptocurrencies to enable in the administrative backend, the company said.
