Labry named to manage domestic merchant services for First Data

DENVER - First Data Corp. has named Ed Labry president of the company's prepaid services, according to a news release. Labry also is expected to assume additional responsibility for leading First Data's Domestic Merchant Services business.

Scott Betts, president of Domestic Enterprise Payments, is leaving the company.

Prior to his appointment as president of Prepaid Services in 2005, Labry was responsible for large-merchant initiatives and advising the organization on new point-of-sale opportunities. Previously, Labry was president of Concord EFS Inc., which was acquired by First Data in 2004.
