Kinective officially acquires ESQ Data solutions

Kinective, a banking operations platform provider, has acquired ESQ Data Solutions, an ATM and self-service device management solutions provider. With this acquisition, Kinective can add cash device management to its Banking Operations Platform, according to a press release.

The Banking Operations Platform provides document workflows, connectivity and automation tools for banks. With ESQ's solutions, banks can control all cash devices such as ATMs, kiosks, ITMs and teller cash recyclers. ESQ provides real time analytics, alerts, monitoring and recovery capabilities. It can process almost 2,900 transactions per second and uses AI issue prevention and resolution tools to improve availability form 70% to 95%, while also reducing operational costs by up to 15%.

"For too long financial institutions have been managing their operations through disconnected systems—monitoring branch operations separately from ATM networks and having multiple isolated systems to manage and monitor cash. This acquisition changes everything," Stephen Baker, CEO of Kinective, said in the release. "We're now the only platform that unifies every critical operational touchpoint, from the moment cash enters a branch teller recycler to when a customer withdraws funds from an ATM many miles away. For our 4,000-plus financial institution customers, this means transforming from reactive operations management to predictive intelligence — seeing problems before they impact customers and optimizing performance across the entire cash ecosystem from a single command center."

Kinective plans to display this banking platform alongside ESQ's cash device management at its user conference Kinections25 held in Scottsdale, Arizona from Nov. 5 to 7.
