DALLAS - Morphis, Inc., a provider of fully integrated currency supply chain management software, has named Doug Deitel as president and chief executive officer.
According to a news release, Deitel brings more than 25 years of banking and financial services experience to Morphis. Most recently Deitel held the position of executive vice president of Corporate Services at Cardtronics, the nation's largest independent owner of ATMs.
Prior to his tenure at Cardtronics, he served as a senior project manager for Fiserv Solutions, Inc. The industry veteran has also fulfilled a number of senior executive roles at both chartered financial institutions and financial service firms.
"The Morphis software product has seen dramatic changes in the last two years," said Alif Rahman, Morphis' chief technology officer, in the release. "What began as a tool designed to facilitate ATM cash management has developed into an end-to-end solution for managing the entire currency supply chain.
Morphis has grown from a single product, single channel company to one with multiple product lines delivered worldwide. Doug's hands-on experience in both ATM and financial services delivery channels will be a great asset to us as we continue adding solutions for new vertical markets around the world."
