Cardtronics and MVP Financial Equipment Corp. have both made hiring announcements within the past week:
Cardtronics has announced that Marc Terry will join the company in September as managing director for all commercial activities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.
Terry comes to Cardtronics from FIS, where he served as group managing director for EMEA responsible for all banking and payments products, a Cardtronics press release said.
Over the span of a 30-year career, he also has filled leadership positions at Vocalink, Metavante, Clear2Pay, S1 UK and ACI Worldwide.
California-based MVP, an ATM refurbishment, service and parts distribution company, has hired industry veteran Mark Smith as director of business development. In his new role, Smith will be responsible for building MVP's new value added reseller program, according to a press release.
"We've been looking to expand MVP for quite some time," Justin Van Peursem, president and CEO of MVP, said in the release. "Mark has the expertise, the team and the ideas to provide the quality programs we strive to offer."
Smith brings more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on providing ATM solutions for FIs, VARs and IADs. His industry involvement includes service on several ATM Industry Association committees, and a two-year term on the board of directors of the Financial and Security Products Association.
