Indonesia's Bank Mandiri to add 1,421 Diebold Opteva ATMs

Furthering a working partnership of more than 10 years, Diebold Inc. and Bank Mandiri, Indonesia's largest retail FI, have signed an agreement under which Diebold will add 1,421 Opteva 529 ATMs to the bank's existing Diebold ATM fleet and network. With the new additions, Bank Mandiri will expand its total ATM count to slightly over 12,400.
The Opteva 529 cash dispenser boasts the industry's smallest footprint while providing advanced functionality and consumer security. The terminals are equipped with the latest fraud prevention solutions, including new advanced skimming prevention and enhanced anti-fishing features. Functional enhancements, such as contactless card readers, facilitate e-purse and mobile top-ups which increase consumer convenience, Diebold said in a news release.
In addition to ATMs, Diebold provides a wide array of products to Bank Mandiri, including Opteva 378 cash recyclers, Opteva 326 self-service terminals that offer one-to-one marketing using Diebold Agilis 3.0 software, and Campaign Office which provides personalized banking services.

TbkBank Mandiri is the largest bank in Indonesia; it operates more than 1,810 branches in-country and overseas. The bank's membership in ATM Link brings its ATM total to 35,300.
