ITP.net:Intellvisions Software launched a surveillance system for ATM security during GITEX Technology Week. The Indian-based surveillance-technology manufacturer expects to build on its network of Middle Eastern partners at the event. The i-watch product is designed to better equip banks and other financial-services providers with useful data that helps them deal with fraud reconciliation and individual transaction records, the company says. Intellvisions expects regional banks to move away from standard IP camera technology in ATM terminals and shift toward more intelligent data-capture and storage.
