ICC to develop ATM, POS test tool for Norwegian card scheme

BankAxept, the Norwegian bank-owned domestic card scheme, has tapped U.K.-based test tool provider ICC Solutions Ltd. to develop its POS and ATM terminal test tool.

ICC Solutions will be one of the tool vendors to offer a BankAxept test tool for POS and ATM terminal vendors to use as they perform functional tests to achieve certification of their application with BankAxept.

According to a press release from ICC, the tool will utilize Interac technology and will support BankAxept's business and technical requirements.

The BankAxept test tool is to be implemented as an ICCSimTMat test suite with the same automation features offered by the company's existing range of qualified test suites.
