ICC intros receipt-wrangling feature for EMV test tool

ICC Solutions, a provider of EMV payment testing and certification solutions, has introduced a new test tool automation feature, according to a company press release.

The enhancement allows testers to scan transaction receipts generated during EMV terminal certification into the ICC Solutions test tool while the test is underway. These receipts are then automatically appended to the log file for that transaction test.

Automating this step facilitates faster testing and eliminates the risk later discovering that the wrong receipts have been filed with a with test case — or lost altogether —making it necessary to repeat the test.

Vantiv offers the feature on its Viable closed-loop test tool, which comprises both host and card simulation in a single test environment. Viable is available for merchant EMV terminal certification programs in the U.S. and soon will be integrated into the ICCSimtmat test tool platform.
