January 31, 2002

PADERBORN, Germany - Banking services provider Wincor Nixdorf Inc. is tapping into IBM's expertise in order to move its ATM services in the United States.

The Paderborn, Germany-based company announced on Jan. 29 that IBM will market, sell, and service Wincor Nixdorf ATM products in the United States. The agreement covers Wincor Nixdorf's ProCash product line, including multi-function ATMs and multi-media cash dispensers.

IBM Global Services will handle sales and maintenance in the United States, with IBM Global Financing taking care of financing for qualified buyers.

The agreement further strengthens ties between the two companies, who previously designed, manufactured, and deployed ATMs in the U.S.
